The vast selection of photogenic items have been the subject of many of my photographs. So I was delighted when Sue Luck, the owner of M.Saltmarsh asked me to design her website. M. Saltmarsh is the longest running art shop in the country, so Sue wanted a website to reflect the history behind the name. The structure of the site is based on the handwritten signs and the details of the shop - such as the delicate shop window mouldings which are used as a motif along the bottom of the website pages. The majority of the shots for the website where taken on one Sunday when the shop was shut, arranging the products as we went along. The old prints for the history section were shot in the studio afterwards. |
